Greek Goddess Artimis

Artimis is a very important goddess because she helps the people at night see. Artimis also keeps the rest of her family from fighting all the time. Artimis is a virgin goddess who hunts for pleasure. Her huntresses are imortal and have forsaken the company of all men.

Artimis is know for the story of a hunter seeing her bathing. She turned him into a stag and his own hunting dogs tore him apart. I say that was a little harsh considering he just happened to come upon her. Another tale is the one about orion and how apollo tricked her into killing him she did.

Artimis was sad and ashamed of her self. She put orion in the sky at a constellation. You can see him up north so look up and remember the moon goddess Artimis with aww in your eyes because she is in my opinion the best goddess ever.
